The reconstruction of the park areas of the Lyčkovo square is proposed in the axially regular historical footprint of the design of the garden architect F. Thomayer and it took into account the newly established functional relations to the wider surroundings. The original axial composition is emphasized by the planting of overhanging beeches, pyramidal hornbeams and elms, the restoration of the lining shrub layer and the lowering of the central area with ornamental fences, round beds and rows of rock gardens on the trunk. The existing line of trees was supplemented in front of the Art Nouveau facade of the school and on the opposite side of the square by spherical maples and sakura trees in such way that the view was preserved. Part of the park is also a small sculpture.
