The urban and architectural solution is based on the overall concept of the development of the Jasná Ski Resort. The project deals with the interconnection of downhill ski tracks in the Chopok - North location and the access from the East Center accommodation area. The new ropeway is one of the key elements of the vertical transport of skiers on the north and south sides of the Chopok hill.Read more
The crystal form of the bottom station of the ropeway and the service building follow the adjacent existing East Center building. The bottom station has three above-ground floors. The lower two floors are used for technical and storage facilities and parking. The third floor consists of a boarding station with an ascending platform, a depot and a service part. The entire technology of the ropeway, including the parking of the cabins, is covered by a steel structure with a kinked roof. The look of the transparent glass facade complements the graphic print and the integrated artificial lighting.
